Every male has the drive to become a real man, and needs other men to guide him on this adventure. A strong father invests in his son's manhood quest. This book challenges courageous warriors as they walk together on this God-intended journey to manhood. Designed to communicate with the younger male generation, Bull is purposeful about not using “textbook speak” to communicate to readers.

The book is written by a psychology graduate school student and a MDiv, PhD licensed psychologist. Its writing style is intended to communicate with the younger male generation and is purposely written in a manner closer to their spoken language and is not “textbook speak”.

Bull is a book for young males.  Any journey into manhood cannot be taken alone, so reading this book with a father or mentor is recommended. It is never too early or too late to start the manhood process.  Becoming a man demands that a young male comes to understand his own spiritual journey with God and to make his own decisions regarding what he will do with Jesus Christ.  The approach is to present short stories of life experience from the younger of the two authors. The truths that emerge serve to illustrate what the Bible says regarding what these life lessons can teach, and help a young male understand what it takes to become a real man.

Fathers who read this book and answer the questions in the Appendix with their sons will grow as well.  Every father has a desire to prepare his son as a man for spiritual warfare. The book ends with “The Talk”, a challenging moment in a father and son’s lives, where both can choose to honestly deal with what has occurred previously in their relationship and set a pattern of action for a future of responsibility and success.
